Carnivore Removal and Control

Despite efforts to manage and better control wildlife problems, they will continue to be just that since animals will frequently adapt and actually thrive in the environment created by humans moving closer and closer to their natural habitats.

With suburban sprawl, many carnivores like raccoons and skunks have not only learned that dumpster's and garbage cans are a great source of food, but also that personal property and homes are an excellent place to find shelter and safety from outside elements. A mother raccoon will actually tear off parts of a roof to gain access to a home so that her babies can be kept warm and dry.

Aside from the terrific mess they can make if they get into a home, the risk with carnivores is pretty obvious--they have claws and teeth. Animals like foxes and coyotes can become a major nuisance once they find that livestock in any given area are easy prey.

Although many people are sensitive about stray domesticated animals, they can still pose a problem for home and property owners. Along with the fact that once a stray cat is given a free handout of food they rarely abandon the area, stray cats can be a source of both fatal and non-fatal diseases.

There are several options when it comes to ridding a property or home of carnivorous animal pests, but the best and by far the safest is professional trapping and removal. Often these animals pose a threat far greater than property and livestock damage when they are provoked, and it's important the the proper steps are taken in order to remove them safely and humanely.

Carnivorous animals pests can include: Alligators, badgers, bears, bobcats, coyotes, foxes, mountain lions, raccoons, wolves and weasels.
